sign up period

All 9 Degrees Direct Debit memberships have a mandatory sign up period. This runs from your date of purchase until the first billing date (the 3rd of each month), plus one month.
For example, if you were to sign up on the 10th of January, you would need to wait until the 3rd of March before freezing or canceling your membership.


 
 

monthly billing

When will payments be due?

Payments are processed on the 3rd of each month. In the event the 3rd falls on a weekend or public holiday processing will be delayed to the next business day.

what happens if a payment fails?

Three days after the initial billing (as above) any declined payments will be processed for a second time. Any payments that are declined twice in a row may incur a $10 processing fee.

can i change the card that is billed?

Absolutely, just let the front desk staff know during your next visit and they will update your billing information.

freezing

how do i freeze my membership?

After the sign up period any membership may be frozen for free, at any time, for a minimum of 2 weeks. You can drop by or give us a call to freeze your membership.

do i need to give notice to freeze my membership?

No notice required. However, freezes can only be processed on the spot as we cannot process future or retrospective membership freezes. If you are unable to make it in to the gym to freeze your membership you can call any 9D gym and freeze over the phone.

what happens with billing when i am frozen?

When freezing a membership you will be credited for the remainder of the current month. This credit will be applied to your next monthly bill.

If you account is frozen when a billing date occurs you will not be charged.

When unfreezing a membership you will be charged up front for the remainder of the month.

cancelling

how do i cancel my membership?

After you’ve been a member for the duration of the sign up period, simply let the staff know that you’re looking to cancel and they will arrange to have your account terminated at the next billing date. You will be able to continue using your membership as normal until then.
